Today marks the end of the year, a chapter has ended. In 2011, many online tradershave braved themselves from behind the computer screens to the REALBUSINESS WORLD. Some that have committed themselves in our bazaars, have somewhat abandoned their websites because their stocks just kept moving too fast -sold before the pictures are uploaded online. There were a handful of people who didn't manage to survive too, as business is all about risk taking.

Here at Enspired Events, we have seen our vendors prosper, from blogshopowners turning into retailers. From little vendors growing into major players in the market. There are some who have even admitted that by joining our bazaars,they have been at where they are today. This is how our business has matured into, we gather business people - new and experienced together - to grow with us.

So here's toasting to a wonderful year in 2011, and looking forward towards a fantastic future in 2012. May God bless you all with richness and abundance in the coming year! Without the continuous support from our vendors, suppliers, business associates, media and managements, we also couldn't be here today. A heartfelt thanks go out to you. Thank you for believing in us.

2012 marks the third year entering into our highly popular Enspired Weekend Bazaar at e@Curve! In 2011, we saw many changes that took place - new extension to LG, new booth sizes, better overall setup, new vendor faces, new business ventures and expansions!

So you can expect 2012 to be better, and BIGGER! Only 50 booths available, up for grabs with priority given to Enspired Concept Store subtenants :)

CNY Fair 2012 @ Tropicana City Mall

Here at Enspired Events, we strive to bring in more events and promotional activities for hardcore vendors just like yourself. The beginning of 2012 unfolds a new chapter, a new venture - Chinese New Year at Tropicana City Mall. With TCM having a good history of festive fairs, we are sure you won't want to miss this event! We are looking for booth operators for CNY related items as well as other unique items to be showcased during this event.

Tropicana City Mall is the second home for many cinema-goers, young families and couples - basically it's a friendly neighbourhood mall which houses big names such as GSC, Carrefour, Starbucks, Artista Bar, Overtime, San Francisco Steakhouse, Pandora, Borders, Story Book, Kitshcen, Nichii, Toys R Us, and many others.

Mechanics

Packages: 6 months / 12 months
Retail space furnishings include clothes racks. Black hangers and products to be brought in by vendors.
Suitable for Fashion Designers, Blogshops & Ladies apparels. Lots will be recommended by Enspired Concept Store management.

2. Type B (Standard Display) Up / Down

Bar Length (Each Level): 2.5ft (up to 70 pieces of clothing)
Two Levels: Up & Down. Combine both at a bargain rental!
Lot Rental: RM200 - RM500 per month
Packages: 6 months / 12 months
Retail space furnishings include clothes racks. Black hangers and products to be brought in by vendors.

3. Type C (Premium Lot)

Lot Rental: RM3,000 - RM4,000 per month
Packages: 6 months / 12 months
Own furniture and fittings
Suitable for products and furnishings which require bigger retail space (e.g. Apparels, Shoes, etc). Lots will be recommended by Enspired Concept Store management.
12 months package will be entitled for signboard provided by ECS

4. Type D (Standard Table Display)

Retail Space: 3ft (H) x 2ft (W) x 4ft (L)
Lot Rental: RM250 - RM300 per month
Packages: 6 months / 12 months
Lot furnishings include table with flat surface to display products.
Suitable for Blogshops, Accessories, Bags, Shoes, Lomo cameras, Toys & other products. Lots will be recommended by Enspired Concept Store management.

Lot categories are tentative. Feel free to call us up if your products are not listed above. Enspired Concept Store reserves the rights to rearrange the lots according to categories, as it deems suitable.

Payment Terms

Initial Payment: 2 (month of security deposit) + 1 (first month rental)
Full payment of total rental duration is entitled for an additional 10% discount + 2 month security deposit.
Take on more lots to combine into a bigger retail and display space!
Confirmation upon full payment of bookings.

Enspired introducing Malaysian fashion collections

IT has been six months since Enspired Concept Store opened its doors at e@Curve, Mutiara Damansara, and it has not stopped the retail outlet from making waves.

Previously known as a retail outlet that carries 12 local fashion brands under its roof, Enspired is rebranding itself to carry products by Malaysian artistes, designers, blogshops and labels to strengthen the brand and its exposure in the Malaysian market.

The store’s founder Chew Ming Lee, 26, said: “We noticed that our customers prefer a wide variety of fashion collections; they tell us that they would like to see more from the local scene.
“Our customers were thrilled when Mizz Nina’s merchandise were up for grabs in our retail outlet. Thus we are gathering more up and coming homegrown labels, designers and blogshops to join us to tap into the Damansara market,” she said.

The concept store is targeting 50 vendors during its reopening next month. The retail outlet will be suitable for people who market fashion, beauty and hobby-related products.

“Whether you have a business online or offline, it would always be a great addition to your business when you have another outlet. There are some who have made a decent amount of profit to open their own boutiques,” she added.

Concept store part of Enspired’s expansion plans

FROM organising events and bazaars, local events company Enspired Events has now ventured into retail business as part of its expansion this year. Aptly named “Enspired Concept Store” to strengthen its brand, the store carries various labels under one roof such as Tidani Collections, Belle & Bear, Secret Wardrobe, Souers Goodies, Vicky, Retro 80’s, Tomaz Shoes, Mabel Shoes, ZZ Accessories and BabyMostWanted Boutique.

Enspired Concept Store began its operations on Dec 31, in conjunction with New Year’s Eve celebrations. The store occupying 2,423 square feet, is located at Level 1, e@Curve, Mutiara Damansara, (previously known as Cineleisure).

“We decided to open our first outlet on New Year eve because Mutiara Damansara will be at its peak with visitors and party-goers. We wanted our opening to coincide with a memorable and auspicious date, so that our presence is made known instantly,” said its founder Chew Ming Lee, 25.

Enspired Concept Store caters for people of all ages, ranging from toddlers to adults. The store has a unique concept whereby retail spaces are leased out for young entrepreneurs to display and promote their products. Enspired Concept Store offers two types of spaces, Shelves and Mini Lots. The store is managed by a central cashier system, which lifts the burden of daily visits to the store for the entrepreneurs.

Enspired Events celebrates OUR FIRST ANNIVERSARY in the bazaar world since our first flea market in July last year in Summit. The Enspired Bazaar in Subang Square SS15 is a popular spot for those looking for bargains and curio items.

The bazaar, which operates thrice weekly, sells exotic animals, including snakes, scorpions, spiders, iguanas, hamsters and sugar gliders but specialises mostly in the sale of clothes and accessories.

Recently, the bazaar, which started in March 2008, received visits from two celebrity bloggers and a hitz.fm cruiser.

Celebrity bloggers Cheesie from cheeserland.com and Kuala Lumpur food and graphics blogger "KYspeaks" from kyspeaks.com dropped by on Sept 12, and spent some time visiting the various stalls and taking photos, which they hoped to upload on their blogs.

Among those who set up booths at the bazaar that day was Subang Jaya resident Yvonne Foong Ming Niang, 23, who came to sell T-shirts and her book which she hopes will generate enough money to fund her upcoming surgery to remove a brain tumour in December.

Born with Type 2 neurofibromatosis, Foong has so far raised RM113,248.01 out of the RM154,704.42 required for the operation.

Foong is the "2005 AYA Dream Malaysia’s Most Outstanding Youth of the Year Award" winner and her book titled I’m Not Sick, Just A Bit Unwell is a memoir about life with neurofibromatosis.

Handbag critic and specialist Alice Wonders also visited the bazaar to launch a lucky draw handbag giveaway, which will award one winner with a handbag for free from Alice’s Vintage and Designer Inspired collections every Saturday at the bazaar.

Two days later, a hitz.fm cruiser crew and the station’s radio announcer Jin rolled into the bazaar to give out FHM magazines, 7-Up Revive, Domino’s Pizza vouchers and free tickets to the Black Eyed Peas’ concert on Sept 25 to excited shoppers.

Enspired Bazaar operates permanently in Subang Square SS15 every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 10am to 7pm.

There’s now an early bird rate for those interested in opening a stall here. The rates are RM50 a day on Mondays and Wednesdays, RM60 for Saturday or RM45 for stalls opening on both Mondays and Wednesdays of the same week.

The hitz cruisers of hitz.fm made a pit stop at Enspired Bazaar last Monday (Sept 14) - the first weekday bazaar @ Subang Square. Though was on leave from work, radio announcer Jin popped by with the cruisers to give away BEP concert tics! Besides that, their giveaways include FHM mags, 7-up Revive, Dominos Pizza vouchers among others.
